Dear Persons (all), I am (was) an early member of CFC, when the servicemen's center was still open; 1991. Subsequently transferred by the Navy, spent a little time in Norfolk when the church was still in the house. Finally ending up on a ship in Mayport, I used to travel to Orlando on weekends after EJT and wife first started there, later run by Mike and Evette Mueller. I never experienced any of the funny business related to LRD; and I was married previous to attending Orlando. I "fell out" when CFC refused to help me with a small home emergency financial problem with our house in Jacksonville. I was deployed, pipes froze at the house, then pregnant wife needed help. She was refused. After my commitment to the church, I thought (falsely) that it wasn't an unreasonable request. I knew then it was a one-sided relationship. However... I always thought Michael Mueller, the guy who baptized me, was a stand-up guy. After combing all of the CFC info available, only one reference to Mike and Evette is available; e.g. the time line referring to the dissolving of the Orlando church and the "removal" of Mike as the pastor 1993. 1. Does anyone no why the church was dissolved? Does anyone know why Mike M. was removed? Does anyone know his fate? Does anyone remember me? I certainly recognize several names from the early years. Thanks for any info you might / can provide?
