To the Leadership and their Spies:

I am going to be brief but over the past year an amazing phenomenon took place.  The City-Data message boards lit up like a Christmas tree as the thread on CFCMI - featuring many contributions by me and numerous ex-members - had 939 posts and over 25,000 views before the administrators pulled the thread.  Apparently either Pete or Ed actually read the boards for themselves and were very upset about all the stuff that was said; Pete referred to our efforts as a "Campaign of Hate".

Some people use Facebook for good, and some people, if you don't pay attention, will get you on their friends list, and you're communicating with people that you don't know.  Do you know there are people who hate Walmart, and think they're part of the antichrist? Do you know there are people here who think that Disneyland is part of the antichrist?. There are those who hate this ministry, and we have not escaped them. Just in the last three or four weeks, I've had several people tell me that they'd been invited to be friends with somebody on Facebook, and after accepting the invitation, had found that the friends of that "friend" are people who hate us and who are working against us.  To give just one example, we were scheduled to have a high-ranking Navy official here to speak with us, and on the day he was due to appear, he was contacted by several people from Facebook who hate us. They told him several things that, if he hadn't been very careful about who he listened to, might have convinced him not to come. But after he came and looked around, he realized that what he'd been told wasn't true. So be careful.

If that wasn't enough, I received a message yesterday from a current oldhead who asked me to stop my efforts against CFCMI.  Normally I would have replied, but he asked me not to contact him.  Let me go on record here and share that my efforts have the following goals:

- Share an opposing viewpoint of the CFCMI practices and policies
- A call for the leadership to reconsider those practices
- Challenge current members to think about what happened and why
- Help former members find answers

In one of my final posts before the City-Data thread was deleted, I shared that if I hated anyone, I would be doing much more than just voice a differing opinion.  If I did not care, then I would have just "moved on" as those in CFCMI wish I would and they could continue to abuse and control sailors like they have for over 35 years.  However, I do care and therefore I continue to invest my time and energy in this effort.  However, contrary to what some may think, I do have other things to keep me busy, so I do not post that often.

To Pete Paine and Ed Thomas, this is the United States of America.  The First Amendment protects our right to free speech just as much as it protects yours.  As long as you continue to uplift the convicted criminal who was the CFCMI founder and try to rewrite history to make L.R. Davis appear to be a saint, we will continue to speak out against the sin, lies, abuse, and control.  We will not go away.  We might get slowed down, but we will move forward to promote Christ and at the same time denounce sin.  Truth cannot, and will not, be stopped.

To the lackeys who are tasked with monitoring these message boards, unlock your minds and start reading the information for yourselves rather than just parrot the information.  Aside from having walked out of a bad situation, we are pretty much the same guys you knew; we now think for ourselves instead of letting someone else think for us.

To everyone who feels we are waging a "campaign of hate": nobody twisted your arm to visit here and read the forums.  You came here of your free will, and chose to read what we have written.  If you find what we wrote offensive, be an adult and quit reading the posts.  I do not go boo-hooing to some website manager because my feelings got hurt and I was called names.  Nobody hates the CFCMI leadership personally.  It is the misconduct we speak out against.  If you don't like that, then don't read the boards.

I will share this as I close: we are not the ones to be afraid of.  All we do is talk and speak our minds.  The one who should be feared is God Almighty, who will bring every dark, wicked deed to light on Judgment Day.  Jesus still offers a space of repentance...but for how much longer?
